The MT19C Moisture Meter provides easy-to-read measurements on a large, backlit LCD display. It features a hold button to freeze readings, auto power off, and a battery indicator. To test relative moisture content, simply remove the surface and the meter will read the material's conductivity. On very dry, insulative wood, it will display a reading of 0, as the pins cannot conduct electricity through the material.

Stick the super-sharp pins as deep as possible into the wood to check moisture content up to 10mm below the surface. This can identify potential moisture problems, taking the guesswork out of moisture measurements and helping avoid harmful fungus growth in the home. We even include extra replacement pins.
